Sarah leads Programming across the VR media portfolio, including flagship products Oculus TV and Venues. Prior to joining Facebook, Sarah led content strategy for a variety of emerging platforms: as Head of Content for Russell Wilson’s mobile app TraceMe (acquired by Nike), VP of Programming for Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s digital company New Form (acquired by Whistle), and in various roles including GM of Lifestyle at Maker Studios (acquired by Disney). She has also advised on partnerships and distribution for MasterClass, Paul Feig’s digital shop Powder Keg, and the non-profit Global Girl Media. Before the online video revolution Sarah worked in the theater, focusing on new play development and production. She has an MFA from Brown University and a BA from Pomona College.

Nate's experience with virtual events goes back as far as 2008, when he helped bring NPR's Science Friday to Second Life. Since then, he has produced over 800 live events in Social VR. Currently, Nate manages Venues Programming and Production Operations on the Media Experiences team at Facebook Reality Labs, and has been responsible for the production of live events in Venues since it launched in 2018.

Samantha Gorman is the co-director/founder of Tender Claws: a game/art/entertainment studio known for innovations in emerging media and a strong foundation in story. She specializes in writing for interactive media and directing digital performance/theater. Projects by Tender Claws have launched nearly every major immersive platform and have received industry awards and accolades. "Virtual, Virtual Reality" (VVR) draws on Samantha's years of experience developing Virtual Reality: starting at a CAVE VR studio in 2002. "VVR" won the 2017 Google Play Award for “Best VR Experience” and Unity Awards Finalist “Best VR Game” and “Best Mobile VR” at Raindance among others. In 2018, Tender Claws partnered with Google AR/VR to release "Tendar" for ARCore and premiered at Sundance New Frontier. In 2019, Tender Claws partnered with Oculus for "The Under Presents:" a multiplayer, immersive theater game with live performers inhabiting the world from November 2019-September 2020. "The Under" has been up for several awards including a SXSW Gaming Award and an Emmy for Innovation. Most recently, Tender Claws has expanded the Under, to create a ticketed, live performances for Quest: “Tempest” will run daily from July 19th to the end of September 2020. In addition to running Tender Claws, Samantha is an academic who studies the history of Immersive Media. This fall she is pleased to join the faculty of CAMD, Art+Design: Games Program as an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University.

Katie Kelly leads the AltspaceVR team at Microsoft – better known as Keegan inside the app. She’s been with AltspaceVR for five years and is focused on creating meaningful, accessible and positive VR experiences. She comes from a background in marketing and community development and has worked on campaigns and products for Hershey’s, GSK, P&G, and multiple startups. Before AltspaceVR, she was the Director of Communications for a non-profit technology company called Medic Mobile.
